There are a number of foods that you can grow during the different seasons of the year. There may be some restrictions based on where you live. However there are alternatives to classic home gardening that will at least let you grow 2 or 3 different fruits or vegetables. Fresh fruits and vegetables sold in the produce section are typically not cheap especially if you need more than just one pound or one item.
