A standard hand rake is a very handy tool that may be used for more purposes than you may imagine. Even if you have an electric leaf blower packed away in your garden shed youll still find times when its neater and easier to use a rake. Its also a key tool for de-thatching the lawn in the fall or preparing it in the spring.
Another great example of a low maintenance indoor plant is the spider plant. A friend of mine has one of these (who I must mention has a real knack for killing plants) and I can testify that they are very difficult to kill. A spider plant makes great house-warming gift for a friend or family member. The spider plant likes to have medium sunlight - which is simple to achieve - even when there is very little direct sunlight that comes through your windows.
Proposition for ambitious hosts that want to surprise the guests and are looking for unconventional solutions. May and June are perfect for \"rose party\". If you do not have roses in your garden you can place rose leafs on the tables and bouquets in every corner of the garden. Interesting concept is also rustic party: colorful flowers in watering cans barrows used as the tables and wooden chops as the seats. Essential elements of the Mediterranean party are: vines climbing on the pergolas lamps dishes flowers - all in white and blue colors. For all the Orient lovers party in Japanese style will be awesome just remember about: the green tea porcelain velvet pillows and incenses.
The Pothos is a very popular indoor garden plant. It is also referred to as Epiremnum aureum Phothos aureus Raphidorphora aureum or Scindaspus aureus. The name of this plant changes all the time - even among the scientific community. Nonetheless all terms refer to the same lovely indoor home plant. They are very interesting plants featuring golden yellow to white shades. They are heart-shaped vine (ivy-like) leaves that flourish beautifully and require very little maintenance.
