What Is Thirty One Seventy Five?

It’s a blog about eating and drinking in London, with a focus on affordable excellence. To understand why it’s called what it is, read the original post.

As well as wittering about food here I write words of mouth for guardian.co.uk. I’m Deputy Editor at NME.COM during daylight hours, do the odd bit of travel writing, and mumble about music, the arts, food and culture for Naag.com.

Hi there,
There is a new restaurant opening soon in the London Bridge area called Platform. I am writing from Handmade, we are doing their PR. It is a new kind of eating experiece, ‘gate to plate’ as the restaurant has its own Devonshire farm so will be using cuts of meat straight from there. If this sounds like something you would be interested in writing about then please do contact me and I can send over more information to you by email.
Many thanks.

Hi,

I hope you are well. I have just found your blog and would love to invite you to glo restaurant and bar to review it. They are based in both Reading and Walton on Thames, Walton on Thames is just 25min from Waterloo.

If you would like to pop down we would be thrilled and obviously organise a complimentary table for two.

Hello Tim,

A new place to work, meet, eat and be inspired is about to be born. Central is about creating a space for interesting, passionate, driven people to go and work that isn’t an office or your home but has everything you need to grow your business or your career. Be that a desk, a coffee or connecting with someone in possession of the knowledge or skill you have been searching for to close that all important project.

We are launching in beta. This is exciting as it means we are investing in listening to people’s opinions. That said, we have come across your blog and are intrigued about what you have to say on food. We are holding a show and tell session on this matter on Thursday 17th at Farm Collective 91 Cowcross Street, Farringdon and would very much like you to join us.

If you are interested in discussing what food should be served in a collaborative place to work, meet eat and be inspired, or more importantly, being a part of this new and exciting concept, then please contact me now to book your place.

To find out more about Central visit us at:

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kindest regards,

Hi there,

I hope you are well. I look after Stoke Place and The Olde Bell, both of which have had some exciting developments lately. The Garden Room at Stoke Place, which serves a twist on traditional country house fare has just been awarded four stars by the AA Guide and two rosettes and has been recommended for a third.

The Olde Bell has a brand new kitchen triumvirate who are pushing their nature dictated dining and nostaligic cooking agendas further than ever. They plan to be 20 per cent self sufficient by July and they are introducing a’la carte breakfasts. Local sourcing continues to be a key factor and they are introducing foraging and incorporating foraged finds such as scurvy grass into their dishes.

I would be delighted to organise a stay for you and a guest for you to experience the restaurants or I could arrange to accompany you myself.

Please see attached releases and let me know if the restaurants are of interest.

Very best,

Carû
